The Franklin Home Power (FHP) system is an energy management solution that integrates the grid, solar panels, batteries, and generators. It is controlled through a simple mobile app, allowing real-time monitoring and management of a home’s energy usage. The FHP system ensures reliable power during grid outages by automatically switching to backup power sources.

The FHP’s energy management is provided by the aGate X, an intelligent controller that integrates all power sources and automatically detects grid outages to seamlessly transition home to backup power within 16 ms.

The FHP system pairs the aGate X with the aPower X, a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery designed by FranklinWH. A single battery has a large 13.6 kWh capacity, with a continuous power of 5 kW, and its peak power of 10 kW can last for 10 seconds. Up to 15 aPower X batteries can be connected to a single aGate X.
