Ordering

How do I place an order?

Browse and order on xyzsupply.com. For large orders or volume pricing, contact sales@xyzsupply.com for a formal quote.

Can I modify or cancel an order after placing it?

Contact sales@xyzsupply.com as soon as possible. Orders can be modified or cancelled before they ship. Once an order is picked and packed, cancellation may not be possible.

Is there a minimum order?

No stated minimum for online purchases. Jobsite delivery in Dallas and Houston metro areas may have minimum order thresholds. Contact sales to confirm.

Pro Account

What is a Pro Account?

A Pro Account is XYZ Supply's verified contractor account that provides wholesale pricing, volume discounts, NET payment terms via BlueTape, and priority support. Available to licensed contractors, roofing professionals, solar installers, and qualified construction businesses.

How do I apply for a Pro Account?

Email sales@xyzsupply.com with your business name, contractor license number, and contact information. Our sales team will respond within 1-2 business days.

Is there a fee for a Pro Account?

No. Pro Accounts are free. Approval is based on trade credentials.

Can I share my Pro Account pricing?

No. Pro Account pricing is non-transferable and intended solely for your registered business. Sharing credentials or pricing may result in account revocation.

BlueTape Financing and NET Terms

What is BlueTape?

BlueTape is a B2B financing platform that provides NET 30, NET 60, and NET 90 payment terms to qualified contractors. XYZ Supply partners with BlueTape so you can take on more jobs without waiting on cash flow.

How do I apply for NET terms?

Apply directly at hello.bluetape.com/xyz-supply-flexible-net-terms. Once approved by BlueTape, you can select NET terms at checkout.

Does XYZ Supply charge interest on NET terms?

XYZ Supply does not charge interest. BlueTape may have fees associated with extended NET terms. Review BlueTape's terms when applying. Late invoice payments are subject to a finance charge per our Billing Terms.

Shipping and Delivery

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders over $500 shipped to a single continental US address qualify for free standard shipping. Oversized, freight, and jobsite delivery orders may incur additional charges.

Do you deliver to jobsites?

Yes. Jobsite delivery is available in Dallas/Fort Worth and Greater Houston metro areas, including boom truck and crane delivery for large roofing and solar orders. See our Jobsite Delivery Policy.

How long does shipping take?

Standard ground shipping takes 3-5 business days for most Texas destinations. Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST are typically processed the same day. Express options are available on select items.

Can I pick up from your warehouse?

Yes. Will-call pickup at our Dallas (2600 Manana Dr) and Houston (1401 Greengrass Dr) locations during business hours. Call ahead to confirm your order is ready.

Returns

What is your return window?

30 days from delivery for unopened, undamaged materials in original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies.

How do I start a return?

Email sales@xyzsupply.com with your order number and reason. We will issue an RMA number. Do not ship products back without an RMA.

Can I return solar panels or installed roofing materials?

No. Once solar panels are powered on or registered, or roofing materials are installed or cut, they are not eligible for return. Unopened units in original packaging may be returned within 30 days.

Product Availability and Bulk Orders

Do you carry a specific product I need?

If you do not see it on our website, contact sales@xyzsupply.com. We may be able to source it or provide a comparable alternative.

Can I get volume pricing for a large project?

Yes. Volume pricing is available for qualifying large orders on shingles, underlayment, solar panels, racking, and other materials. Contact sales with the quantity and product details for a formal quote.

What if a product I ordered is out of stock?

We will notify you by email and offer the option to backorder with an estimated lead time or receive a full refund.

What is the difference between ordering online and creating a direct account with us?

Anyone can place an order online. However, to create a direct account with us, you must be an established business. This service is specifically designed for established solar installers. Depending on the order quantity, installers receive better pricing on solar materials. Additionally, we offer financial and logistics options to support their business needs.

Solartek processes orders in the order they are received. Once your payment is confirmed and your order is prepared for shipping, you will get an email with your tracking details. *Can’t find the email? Check your spam or junk folder just in case!

FREIGHT SHIPPING

For in-stock items, Solartek typically processes orders within 1–3 business days. Delivery times depend on the carrier and national shipping routes, with an estimated range of 3 to 15 business days.

Solartek Freight Services are available for every state within the U.S. Use our online checkout to estimate your delivery costs. Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Standard processing times vary depending on product availability.

PARCEL SHIPPING

Estimated shipping times for single-item, in-stock orders are 1–2 business days, depending on their position in the order queue. Actual delivery dates vary based on carrier

Solartek provides parcel shipping through FedEx, UPS, and USPS. If you prefer a different service, feel free to reach out to our team at info@solartek.com.

Parcel Shipping

Solartek provides parcel shipping for qualifying products. Shipping times are based on business days (Monday through Friday) and exclude weekends and holidays. Depending on your order, items may arrive in multiple packages. Once your order is shipped, it cannot be rerouted. To avoid delays or issues, please ensure that your name, address, and phone number are accurate before completing your payment.

International Shipping

Yes, Solartek can ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam. Small parcels are sent via USPS, while larger packages (under 150 lbs) are shipped through UPS. For more details, please reach out to our team at: info@solartekcorp.com

How to Track Your Shipment

You can find updates on your shipment through our website's order tracking page or by using the links below. Please refer to your shipping confirmation email for your Tracking Number.

LTL Freight Shipping

All freight delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Transit times depend on the location and size of the order, with standard delivery taking between 3 and 15 business days. Please note that Solartek is not responsible for delays caused by carrier exceptions.

If at any point you would like an update on your estimated delivery date, feel free to reach out to the carrier assigned to your order. Just reference your tracking number and they can provide real-time updates on the spot!

Best practice for Receiving Freight Delivery

  • Take a photo of your order in the truck with the driver upon arrival
  • Take images of all 4 sides of your pallet
  • HOT TIP: Try to include the driver in any shots where you notice potential damages
  • Take photos of any tears, holes, or rips in the packaging.
  • If you notice any damage, immediately call the number on your delivery receipt to report it to the terminal

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and order changes are permitted to open, unshipped orders. Cancellations must be initiated with our Customer Support team during Solartek’s normal business hours. If your order has not been processed or packed, no fees will be applied to your cancellation. If items have been packaged but not yet shipped, a cancellation or order change may be permitted with a restocking fee of up to 15%.

Once your order has been assigned a tracking number from our shipping department, we cannot make any changes to that order. Solartek provides exchange orders, and refunds to original payment methods. Refunds are typically processed within 7 days of confirmation. You will receive a notification of the refund once it is processed. It will be an immediate process on the behalf of Solartek, although it can take your financial institution 3 - 14 business days to deposit into your account.

In-Store Pickup

If you prefer to pick up your order directly from our store, we offer In-Store Pickup as a convenient option. Simply place your order online and choose the In-Store Pickup option at checkout. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a notification with instructions on how to pick it up at our location. Please ensure you bring a copy of your order confirmation and a valid ID when picking up your order.

For in store pickup, product responsibility and liability are transferred to the customer upon pickup. Solartek does not accept responsibility or liability for any damage, transportation, or other issues after the terminal transfer. Inspect your order at the terminal before leaving to ensure everything is in good condition.

Please ensure your vehicle can handle your pickup! Standard bed trucks are typically under 78” long. Most solar panel pallets will range from 72” to 84” in length, with a 48” width and 40-54” height. Ensure that your vehicle can accommodate the weight and height requirements of the load and that the wheel hubs in the bed of the truck are considered when measuring. We highly recommend you bring strapping to secure your load. Additionally, if your order contains more than one pallet, a standard pickup truck may not be sufficient.

Solartek confirms and allocates inventory for paid orders. All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once payment is confirmed, your order will be processed within 1 to 2 business days.

Online Payments

Solartek accepts payments through Credit Card, PayPal, and Wire Transfer/ACH upon request.

In-Store Payments

On-site payment options are not available by cash. If paying with a credit card or other online payment methods, payment must be completed prior to pickup. All orders must be fully processed before local pickup can be arranged. No pickups will be allowed for unpaid quotes.

How do I initiate a return?

Are there return shipping fees?

In most cases, return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. However, if the return is due to an error on our part, such as receiving a damaged or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping costs.

Warranty

What is your warranty policy?

All products come with a manufacturer's warranty. Solar panels have a 25-year warranty, while other products usually have a 10- to 25-year warranty, depending on the product.

The equipment sold by Solartek Distributors is designed by the manufacturer to be installed ONLY by licensed, trained, and insured solar electrical installation professionals. We strongly recommend that customers seek the assistance of such professionals for the installation of any products purchased. Solartek Distributors makes no warranty regarding the purchaser’s safety, the success of the equipment’s implementation, or compliance with local codes and regulations.

Solartek Distributors disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information provided or the fitness of the materials sold for a particular purpose. Please note: Some of the USED or Grade B titled equipment sold may not include a manufacturer’s warranty. No warranty can be created or extended based on sales or promotional materials.

What is not covered under the warranty?

Warranty Claims May Be Denied for the Following Reasons:

  • Damages incurred during installation or removal
  • Damages caused during mishandling of the product or inappropriate environmental exposure
  • Damages resulting from improper maintenance
  • Tampering, altering, or disassembling the product
  • Using the product for applications other than those intended by the manufacturer
  • Damage due to lightning, fire, flood, or other acts of God
  • Any product with an altered, defaced, or removed serial number
