XR100 Splice bar (Bonded Structural Splice) provides a seamless, hidden connection for XR-10 Rails. The built-in bonding springs bite into the rail, forming a bonded rail link that meets all UL requirements without using any additional tools or hardware. In addition, the BOSS™ eliminates installation restrictions around splice locations by allowing you to place it anywhere along the span, except the outside cantilever.

Strengthened XR Rail Connections

The BOSS™ is designed for strength, eliminating restrictions such as installing splices only on interior or end rail spans. This flexibility allows spliced rail to be used more freely, helping to reduce system costs. It also simplifies planning by reducing the steps and frustration involved in determining proper splice locations.

Integrated Bonding Teeth

The built-in bonding spring features teeth that securely grip the inside of the rail, providing a reliable connection with minimal effort or additional hardware. Note: For rail spans longer than 100 feet, ensure a 1-inch gap is left—this allows the teeth to fully engage while maintaining proper alignment, eliminating the need for straps.

Centered Stop Tab

A physical stop offers tactile feedback, ensuring the splice is properly centered between two rails. Additionally, alignment circles on either side of the tab help guide the placement of the splice, ensuring precise 1-inch expansion gaps.
